Lead rope solo description
Prerequisites:
– Autonomy in the traditional lead climb
–Solo experience on top rope
Topics covered
– Equipment – Blocker choice: Silent partner, Soloist, Solo-aid, Grigri 1, Grigri 2, Grigri +, Grigri 2019, Revo, LOV2, LOV3, Camp Goblin, or Gnome for the moment;
NOTE: Bliss Climbing can help you find a piece of equipment.
– Attitude – easy paths vs difficult paths, commitment;
– Management – backup, how to provide support;
– Practice – application of the concepts learned to the MAXIMUM;
– Self rescue – rescue/evacuation plan and we invite you to explore other safety concepts – (First aid, CPR, other equipment).

– $558 plus tax for the online version (covers all ascenders) (and includes roped solo on a fixed rope).
Top Rope Solo description
Prerequisites:
– Autonomy leading in traditionnal climbing
Topics covered
– Equipment – materials according to your needs and capacity, systems, ropes;
– Attitude – type of commitment;
– Management – organisation, sécurité en haut des voies;
– Practice – application of the concepts learned to the MAXIMUM;
– Self-Rescue –rescue/evacuation plan and we invite you to explore other safety concepts – (first aid, CPR, other equipment).

– $219 plus tax for the online training (in English)
Description of artificial climbing
Prerequisites:
– Autonomy in traditional lead climbing
Topics covered
– Equipement – progression protection, pitons, hooks, cam-hooks, bashies (alumina / copper heads), offset mechanics, improvisation!!, stirrups, daisy chains, fifi, gloves, ascenders;
– Attitude – Easy routes vs. difficult routes, aid vs. free climbing;
– Management – fall factor, pulley effect, crossbeams, pendulums, how to second;
– Practice – application of the concepts learned to the MAXIMUM;
– Self-Rescue –rescue/evacuation plan and we invite you to explore other safety concepts – (first aid, CPR, other equipment).
Cost:
– $172.50 to $750 CAD depending on the number of participants.
** This course pairs perfectly with “Introduction to Big Walls” (combined over two days with one night in between)!
Description initiation aux grands murs
Prerequisites:
– Autonomy in traditional lead climbing
Topics covered
– Hauling the bags, setting up the portaledge, a night suspended in mid-air!!!
– Equipement – the bags, the portaledge, equipment list, the water… HEAVY!, the pulleys,
– Attitude – 8 pitches routes vs. 32 pitches routes, difficult routes, aid climbing vs. free climbing, keeping to a schedule, adjustments
– Management – MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT! Belay, entire project, the team, get down!!
– Practice – application of the concepts learned to the MAXIMUM;
– Self-Rescue –rescue/evacuation plan and we invite you to explore other safety concepts – (first aid, CPR, other equipment).

-$253 to $1035 CAD depending on the number of people.

Description of Self-Rescue
Prerequisites:
– Traditional climbing experience
Topics covered:
Self-rescue is how to get out of trouble without needing outside help. A first aid course can be an excellent complement.
You will learn about: – knots specific to self-rescue – problematic situations when: – belaying someone on top rope – belaying a lead climber – belaying a second climber, or two climbers – during a rappel
Cost: To be discussed, currently unavailable. * This course is an excellent complement to traditional climbing training. * It can also be taken on its own to supplement previous training or to revisit the subject!

Prerequisites:
– Passionate climber needing advice or wanting to improve a technique! Topics covered: No time for a group? Need a few tweaks before a climb? Project planning that’s dragging on? Or perhaps you have techniques to refine, or a refresher course? Come find solutions in a private, one-on-one session with our specialist! Don’t hesitate, contact us to discuss your needs. Cost: The rate varies from approximately $100 to $130 per hour.
